What is RedTouch Pro
RedTouch Pro is a DEKA (Italy) laser with an exclusive 675 nm wavelength. Unlike most rejuvenation lasers, which heat water in the tissue, 675 nm light is absorbed by collagen itself, so less energy is needed to create micro-zones of controlled thermal stimulation less than 1 mm deep. The skin responds with collagen and elastin renewal; the surface is protected by the integrated cooling system and by the selectivity of the wavelength, which is why the procedure needs no anaesthesia and leaves no recovery period.
The wavelength has a triple action — on collagen and small vessels in the dermis and on pigment in the epidermis. At La Vie Clinic RedTouch Pro is used for signs of ageing (loss of firmness, fine lines and wrinkles), uneven or tired skin tone and benign pigmentation; after a specialist's assessment it can also be included in programmes for melasma, stretch marks, scars and post-acne marks, and for hair thinning on the scalp. Treated zones: face, neck, décolletage, hands, knees, lips and scalp. The Moveo modality makes the session faster and allows work on darker phototypes and tanned skin.
A course is usually 3–4 sessions about 30 days apart, with a follow-up consultation three months after the last one. Procedures are not performed during pregnancy and breastfeeding, on active skin disease, while taking photosensitising medication or after heavy sun exposure; the full list is checked at the consultation.
