What is Icoone Laser Med

Icoone is an Italian technology of Multi Micro Alveolar Stimulation: the Roboderm handpieces draw the skin into hundreds of micro-chambers with controlled vacuum and roll it with independent micro-rollers, delivering up to 21 600 micro-stimulations per minute. This is far finer than classic vacuum-roller massage, so the connective tissue is stimulated without pulling or bruising, and even thin and sensitive areas — around the eyes, the neck, the inner arms — can be treated.

La Vie Clinic operates the medical version, Icoone Laser Med in the Robotwins configuration: two applicators work simultaneously, which halves the session time, and the handpieces add a 915 nm laser and 650 nm LED light to the mechanical action. The device runs 24 aesthetic and wellness programmes and 16 medical programmes. For the body it is used for cellulite, localised fat deposits, swelling and heaviness in the legs, loss of firmness, post-partum changes and muscle tension; for the face — for puffiness, loss of firmness, fine lines and the double chin. Medical programmes are applied by indication and in agreement with the treating doctor: lymphatic drainage in lymphostasis, mature scars and fibrosis, haematomas, and tissue recovery before and after surgery.

A body session takes 50 minutes, a face session 30; a visible course is usually 6–10 sessions, 2–3 times a week, and the first lightness is often felt after the first visit. Body programmes are completed with Arosha pressotherapy — pneumatic lymphatic-drainage boots that help remove the fluid mobilised during the session and are booked as a separate step of the same visit.

Icoone is not performed over open wounds, active infection, phlebitis or an active tumour process; during pregnancy the abdomen is not treated and other zones are agreed with the doctor.
