What is Motus Pro
Motus Pro is a DEKA (Florence, Italy) medical laser platform that pioneered the Moveo technique: the handpiece glides over the skin in constant contact and delivers energy in several passes at low fluence, so the follicle is heated gradually instead of being hit with single high-energy pulses. Two wavelengths are available — 755 nm Alexandrite, the primary choice for hair removal, and 1064 nm Nd:YAG for darker or tanned skin and for vascular work.
At La Vie Clinic two Motus Pro systems work alongside two Again Pro systems in Riga. Both lines run the same protocols and the same price list, so you are booked to the nearest free slot rather than to a specific machine, and a course started on one device can continue on the other without any change in settings logic.
Hair removal with Motus Pro covers the face, underarms, bikini area, arms, legs and body for women and men; a course is usually 6–10 sessions at growing intervals. The Nd:YAG mode is used by our dermatologists for dilated facial capillaries, couperose, redness in rosacea-prone skin and small angiomas after an assessment of the vessels. Contraindications — pregnancy, oncological diseases, certain medications, active skin diseases, epilepsy, a pacemaker — are checked before the first session.
