What is Motus AX Beauty & Spa
Motus AX Beauty & Spa is the aesthetic version of DEKA's (Italy) alexandrite laser (755 nm), built around Moveo technology and designed for professional beauty and spa use. Instead of firing single high-energy pulses onto a still handpiece, the specialist keeps the sapphire-tipped handpiece moving over the skin in continuous contact, delivering energy in several low-fluence passes. The hair follicle is heated gradually to the temperature at which it stops growing, while the skin surface stays cool thanks to full contact cooling — this is what makes the session comfortable without anaesthetic cream and lets alexandrite, the most effective wavelength for hair removal, be used safely on darker and lightly tanned skin.
At La Vie Clinic in Tallinn Motus AX is our device for laser hair removal of the face and body: upper lip and chin, underarms, bikini, arms, legs and back. A course usually takes 6–8 sessions 4–8 weeks apart, because the laser acts only on hairs in the active growth phase; the exact number depends on the zone, hair colour and thickness, and hormonal factors, and is set at the first visit.
