What is AquaClean

AquaClean is a hydro-peeling system: a single-use sterile tip delivers a treatment solution to the skin and at the same time removes it with controlled vacuum, taking away dissolved impurities, blackheads, dead cells and excess sebum. Three serums are used in sequence — AHA acids to loosen dead cells and stimulate renewal, BHA acids to clear pores and calm inflammation, and hyaluronic acid to hydrate and even out the tone. The intensity of the vacuum and the choice of solutions are adjusted to the skin by the cosmetologist, which is why the procedure suits oily, combination, dry and sensitive skin alike.

AquaClean is the clinic's basic facial cleansing: for blackheads and congested pores, oily shine, dull tone, uneven texture, flaking and dehydration, and as preparation before other treatments. It can be done as a stand-alone 40–60 minute procedure or as the first stage of a combined protocol — with targeted manual extraction, a mask, LED therapy or, in the AquaClean + exosomes protocol, with microneedling. Results are visible after the first session; for a lasting effect the procedure is repeated regularly.

The procedure is postponed in case of active skin infection, herpes, open lesions, sunburn or marked irritation; tell the specialist about allergies to the components of the solutions, recent peels, laser or injection procedures, and about pregnancy or breastfeeding. For inflammatory acne, persistent pigmentation or rosacea a separate plan is made — cleansing alone does not treat the cause. AquaClean is available at La Vie Clinic in Riga and Tallinn.
